"Greed (Latin, avaritia), also known as avarice, cupidity or covetousness, is the inordinate desire to possess wealth, goods, or objects of abstract value with the intention to keep it for one's self, far beyond the dictates of basic survival and comfort."
That means, these shoes, that I don't need, can't afford, can only get on Ebay, AND don't even know if they would fit me, should not be such a big deal. But they ARE! I love these shoes. I mean LOVE these shoes. I am not a huge Cinderella buff, but I am a Disney Princess fan. I might even go so far as to say I consider myself to be the 14th Disney Princess, release date of my film TBD after Disney comes to there senses.
The moment I saw these shoes I wanted them, like in a biblical "Though shall not covet" kinda of want. I guess its like when your on a diet and you "cant" eat something, thats all you want to eat. Or when you say don't scratch your nose thats all you want to do. But still, these STUPID shoes are beautiful and if I had a million dollars I would buy them. I would buy several in fact.
One for me (size 9), one for my friend D (size 5), who is going to run the Disney Princess 5K with me in February, and one for my Aunt who is a HUGE Cinderella fan (size 10).
See! I even know what size I should get them! That makes me a good person! HONEST! :)
So no offence to Wiki, but I would change their entry to this:
"Greed (Latin, avaritia), also known as avarice, is the desire to possess wealth, goods, or DISNEY PRINCESS RUNNING SHOES of abstract value CAUSE THEY ARE LIMITED EDITIONS with the intention to keep them for one's self AND FRIENDS AND FAMILY IF I HAD THE MONEY, far beyond the dictates of basic survival and comfort BECAUSE SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED PRETTY SHOES." I mean come ON, what lesson does Cinderella teach us if not that???
JUST LOOK AT THEM!

Cinderella is on the back
They tried to go with "glass slipper" idea with the sides and front
Inside the tongue theres a picture of the Pumpkin Carriage... awwwww!!!!

The entire shoe is covered with sparkles and insole has a big picture of the Disney Castle .
How can I love and hate Disney so much at the same time?
